This is Konilo running on an
emulated x86.
Notes:
- This runs with no underlying operating system
- Requires 2MB of RAM for standard system,
or 4MB for mult/ilo
- The ilo binary is multiboot compliant, booting with
GRUB
- This requires a hard disk for the blocks
- It will use the entire hard disk
- Please be careful if attempting to run this on
your hardware!
- The initial startup is not fast; on this emulated
system it may take a minute or longer before being
ready to use. If using the mult/ilo vm; the
initial switch between sessions (or restarts of a
session) will take a similar amount of time.
- Konilo (on ilo) is the standard system. It will
load the startup blocks from the hard drive.
- Konilo (on mult/ilo) is the standard system on an
extended ilo system. With this you can use F1-F5 to
switch between Konilo sessions. It will load the
startup blocks from the hard drive.
- Konilo (minimal) is the standard system. It will
NOT load the startup blocks from the hard drive.
(startup will be much faster, but none of the common
extensions or programs will be loaded)
- Install or Update Blocks lets you do as the title
says. IF YOU RUN THIS ON ACTUAL HARDWARE, IT WILL
ERASE THE FIRST 128 BLOCKS (768K) ON YOUR DISK. USE
ONLY ON A DRIVE YOU CAN DEDICATE TO KONILO.
